Once you have located the Clause you want to change, it is a simple matter to use your word processor, automatically loaded by FastDraft, to change the text. But first consider the impact on other automated documents.
A change to a FastDraft Clause will apply to all automated documents that use that Clause. If your change is an improvement to the Clause no matter where it appears, go ahead and make it. If the change is appropriate for some automated documents and not others, you have some work to do. Create a new Clause containing the modification. For each Clause in your Library that links to the old Clause, either link it to the new one instead or leave it linked to the old one. Make corresponding changes in any SmartModels you have created.
