Cons

All document assembly programs require that you make an up-front investment of time both to learn a new tool and to create automated documents. Despite making use of standard Windows controls and techniques, you can expect to devote time to learning and sometimes relearning FastDraft's methods for creating automated documents.

·User interface is sometimes unintuitive
·Text is stored in RTF format rather than native WordPerfect or Word format
·The special characters used to automate a document take getting used to
·No Date field type nor ability to validate variable input
·Cost: low for one user, but higher than the competition for multiple networked users
