To create clauses from an existing word processing document, you need to create or modify a FastDraft Volume. Upon opening the Volume, FastDraft opens or switches to your word processor and activates the Clause Toolbar. A special word processing document is used to hold the Clauses contained in a Volume.
You begin to add a Clause by clicking the Title button, then filling in a Title and Description for the Clause in a window that appears. When you close the window, the cursor appears in the location for the boilerplate text of your clause. Either by type in the text them from scratch or paste it from an existing document. Continue to add more Clauses by clicking the Title button for each new Clause.
